Everyone is fond of sweets specially after having lunch or dinner and at the
same time health issue comes in mind while having sweets, so here I brought
you healthy wheat dry fruits halwa.
Lets see the ingredients first :
1.5 tblspn - Wheat flour
1.5 tblspn - Ghee
1 cup - water
8 tspn - sugar / 1 cup - jaggery
1/4 tspn - cardamom powder
Dry fruits
Steps :
1 - In a pan add water and jaggery and boil it till the jaggery dissolves
completely. Switch off the gas after 2 mins once the jaggery is dissolved.
2. In another pan add wheat flour and roast the flour for 2 mins.
3. Add the entire ghee to the wheat flour now and keep stirring. Stir
continuously till you see golden color and cardamom powder for an aromatic
smell. ( make sure to stir it nicely to avoid burning as it burns
quickly).
4. Switch off the gas and add the jaggery syrup which we made before little by
little to this flour mixture and stir nicely to avoid lumps. if you see any
lump keep stirring and break all the lumps. Get a smooth paste like texture.
5. Now again heat the mixture for 2 more minutes and you will observer a good
thick mixture.
6. Take out this mixture in any plate you want to serve and garnish with dry
fruits.
Note :
You can filter the jaggery syrup if you see any residue in it.
You can also add dry fruit powder if it is available with you.
Also you can replace jaggery with sugar. Whatever is available with you.
And a very healthy sweet dish is ready. Njoy yummy food.
