Matki Fry (Matki Sprouts)

Here's an Indian style sprouts recipe for breakfast. Very tasty and protein rich recipe. 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 bowl sprouted matki
  • 1 onion 
  • 1 green chilly 
  • 1 tblspn oil 
  • 1/2 tspn turmeric 
  • 1/2 tspn salt

Steps  : 


1. Make thin slice of onion and chilly.

2. Take oil in pan , add onion and chilly to it and stir.

3. Once onion becomes translucent,  turn the flame to low add turmeric and salt to it and mix well.

4. Add matki and mix well.

5. If you feel it's too dry, sprinkle some water over it and cover with lid. 

6. Let it cook for 5 minute , stir again and cover with lid for 5 more minutes and here you go with a great breakfast.

Note : 
Add salt a bit less else too much salt will ruin the taste.
Same procedure you can follow for moong sprouts.
