Vegetable Maggie

Not only kids but we all love Maggie, isn't it. Lets give a twist to Maggie and make it bit healthier. Ingredients : 1 onion ,1 tomato,1 carrot 1 green chilly 50 gm peas 50 gm cauliflower 2 Maggie packets 1 tblspn oil 1/4 tspn salt 2 glass water (450 ml) Steps : 1. Make thin slice of onion and chilly and cut tomato and cauliflower into cubes. 2. Take oil in a pan, put onion, chilly, tomato, peas, cauliflower, salt and stir for 5 minutes. 3. Add 2 glass of water to it and let it boil. 4. Once boiled, put Maggie and its masala to the pan and let the Maggie get cooked. 5. Stir in between, and cook for 5-10 minutes and here you have a tasty Maggie with vegetable ready for you. Note : Do not put more salt as some salt is already present in Maggie masala. Also you can add capsicum if it's available. Non vegetarians can even add boiled chicken or omelette at the end when the Maggie is almost cooked.

Matki Fry (Matki Sprouts)

Here's an Indian style sprouts recipe for breakfast. Very tasty and protein rich recipe. Ingredients: 1 bowl sprouted matki 1 onion 1 green chilly 1 tblspn oil 1/2 tspn turmeric 1/2 tspn salt Steps : 1. Make thin slice of onion and chilly. 2. Take oil in pan , add onion and chilly to it and stir. 3. Once onion becomes translucent, turn the flame to low add turmeric and salt to it and mix well. 4. Add matki and mix well. 5. If you feel it's too dry, sprinkle some water over it and cover with lid. 6. Let it cook for 5 minute , stir again and cover with lid for 5 more minutes and here you go with a great breakfast. Note : Add salt a bit less else too much salt will ruin the taste. Same procedure you can follow for moong sprouts. Also read How to cook instant oats

Instant Oats

Let's try this instant oats simple yet healthy and delicious dish. Ingredients are : 1 cup :Water 4 tspn : Instant Oats 1/8 tspn: Salt Steps : 1. Heat water in pan for 2 mins. 2. Add oats and salt, and keep stirring for some time. 3. Cook for 5 mins to get it completely cooked. 4. You can add more water if you need soupy consistency, or you can have it with thick consistency. And here you go. The very simple yet delicious oats is ready. Ready to eat Oats Note : You can also add below things to the oats while cooking it and enjoy different flavors. 1. To add up spice add a sliced green chilly to it. 2. Add palak puree or cut it in very thin slices. 3. Add grated beetroot. 4. Add grated carrot.
